Chef Joy’s “FireBurn Dem” is a perfect blend of zesty, spicy, savory flavors that are sure to kick any dish up a delicious notch. This blend includes red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, white pepper and black pepper.

Spicy Cajun Shrimp


(Fire Burn Dem) 

Ingredients Serving: 4 Measurements

Shrimp, deshelled, deveined 1 lbs

Butter, unsalted 2 tbsp 

Olive oil 2 tbsp 

Honey 4 tbsp 

Chef Joy’s “Fire Burn Dem” ½ tbsp

Woreshire 1 tbsp 

Garlic, minced 2 cloves 

Lemon juice 1 tbsp 

Directions 

  1. Peel and devein the shrimp.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to an oven safe skillet, stir and let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

  3. Remove skillet from the heat and let cool for a couple minutes.

  4. Add the shrimp and toss it around so that it’s fully immersed in the sauce.

  5. Cover with foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 4 hours.

  6. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  7. Bake shrimp for 10 to 15 minutes.

  8. Serve immediately with crusty French bread and drizzle with additional lemon juice as needed.
